Currently in the studio tracking 13 songs loosely based on Pete's relationship with the ocean and the energy he draws from it as an artist. The album highlights his unique style of playing a nylon string (classical guitar) blended with his laid-back and ominous vocal style.

Expected release: May 1, 2021

I'm sharing a rough mix off the new album of the song "He Would Go" based on the legendary waterman Eddie Aikau who was lost at sea in 1978 in an attempt to swim to shore to save the crew of a capsized double-hulled voyaging canoe he was in 12 miles of the shore of Molokaʻi. His life journey inspired me when I read the book by Stuart Homes Coleman "Eddie Would Go: The Story of Eddie Aikau, Hawaiian Hero and Pioneer of Big Wave Surfing".

Album Production:  First and foremost, completing this album is a dream come true. As most performing musicians, the shutdown has taken it's toll. On a positive note, a little extra free time was the perfect gift allowing me to jump in the studio and push forward. Besides performing live, recording and writing is my favorite artistic task as I relish the chance to have free time to do it. My mixing engineer and friend Marc Greene has taken the helm on the project, and with the help of some amazing musicians (especially John Mahon), I am in good hands and have momentum. Pre-ordering the album is a huge help and extremely appreciated as it keeps me moving forward in a positive direction - a good direction to go for all of us during these unprecedented times. Thank you for stopping by and I'm thrilled to have your support.
